5 Minutes (or less) with Ms. Cuculich

Well, we all know Spring Break isn't exactly the same this year, but we thought we'd take a few minutes to check in with our teachers & staff to see how they're spending their time.

What were your initial plans for break?

I was going to go back to Rochester, NY to visit my family.

What are your plans now?

More cooking, more cleaning, more walking around.

What positives are you taking away from this experience?

My favorite part has been connecting with my students on our Zoom classes each day.

Is there a project that you've now found time to tackle that you had been putting off for years?

I'm hoping to catalogue all of my favorite recipes in a binder over spring break.

What is the first thing you will do when the isolation is lifted?

Go to my favorite local brewery for trivia night.

What book are you reading right now?

Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishigoru

Thinking back on the first few weeks of remote learning, what has surprised you about your students in this environment?

The students are still the same online as they are in real life. Their humor, their comments, their participation hasn't changed, in a good way!
