Meals & Dining

We believe that the experience of a shared meal is empowering, fuels connectivity, and nurtures community.

Included in our student fee is enrollment in our lunch program. Our dining services provider, HandCut Foods, has been a partner with us since our school opened in the fall of 2014. HandCut’s goal is to provide fresh, from scratch, healthy food options. Whenever possible, HandCut selects ingredients and products from local producers and constructs menus around seasonal availability of ingredients.

HandCut provides lunches for Pre-k through 5th Grade. The upper school lunches are provided by the Radisson Hotel.

Food as a Learning Opportunity

In addition to a constantly rotating menu of diverse foods that reflect the cultural and international diversity of our school, HandCut is working with us to develop a food curriculum that will mesh well with our Chicago studies program, making food studies a regular part of the student experience.
